Event description

Kia ora dear sisters, you are invited to join us to learn about and witness The Power of Family Constellations with our very special guest Charlotte from Wild Song Healing.

This session will be about the magic of Family Constellations. An introduction will be to find out more about the modality and see a brief demonstration of it.

Family Constellations is a magical modality that works at an energetic level to illuminate family hurts, pains and traumas that need to be witnessed and released.

Many of us have dysfunction in our family units for lots of reasons, and this holds us back from living full, open and joyful lives. We store this collective family trauma deep in our family filing cabinet and these malfunctioning family records of trauma/hurt loom over us, keeping us all stuck and unable to move forward. These family records stay in the family archives for generations and generations in the form of stuck energy patterns binding the family.

This modality isn't about airing and dissecting every family trauma but more about looking for those stuck energy patterns in your family, witnessing them, bringing awareness to them and moving the stagnancy through.
Taking part in a Family Constellations session can be a profound and moving experience, helping us to see the bigger picture of what is playing out and our place in our family dynamics.

About Charlotte

You may know Charlotte from her song and musical work at Wildsong Healing but her other love is ancestral and family healing. Her connection with this beautiful practice began over 10 years ago, since then she has gone on to participate, assist, study and train in hundreds and hundreds of hours of this modality.  Although she went on to do other formal trainings, she owes the majority of my constellations love and understanding to her teacher Jill Purce, who she worked with since 2013. Jill, alongside others (Bert Hellinger, Rupert Sheldrake), pioneered this thinking and type of ancestral healing in the west. You may have experienced family constellations before, and each practitioner will have their own style. Many of you know the way Charlotte works, and this will be in the same vein; ceremonially, with chant, movement, cacao.More info on Charlotte's work here: www.wildsonghealing.com

Not on a superficial level, but a REAL connection and support."

FAQ:
What is the Red Tent and what do you do there?
The Red Tent movement is worldwide and stemmed from the book The Red Tent written by Anita Diamant.
Red Tents are spaces created by women, for women to come each month and share their stories, relax, feel nurtured, seen, and heard.
There is nothing required of you and the main goal is for you to relax, recharge and reset.

Each month at Red Tent Aotearoa is different, we invite a different woman to share her story, experience and interest with us so that we all can learn and become more confident. Some of our themes in the past have been; The Power of Pleasure, The Power of Identity, The Power of Grief, The Power of Menstrual Cycle Awareness, The Power of the Spoken Word, The Power of Positive Touch, and The Power of Humility.

Our belief is that 'Power-with' instead of 'Power-over' will change the world.

Who is the host and why does she do this?

We have many Red Tent Aotearoa trained facilitators across the country.
Each Red Tent is hosted by someone different.

Jill is a community-focused change-maker with a devotion to non-profit organisations and a passion for non-violent communication.

She has dedicated the last 12 years of her life to starting, growing, and sharing Red Tent Australia and now Red Tent Aotearoa. Organisations that helps start and support the birthing of Red Tent circles all over the country.
