Description
The Power Shift: Live is a one-day gathering focused on how Scotland’s energy transition is reshaping communities – and how those changes are understood and reported.
Bringing together journalists, community voices, researchers and practitioners, the event will connect people working on different sides of the same story: energy, ownership and climate.
Building on a collaborative reporting project from The Scottish Beacon – a network of 25 independent, community-based publications across Scotland – the day offers a chance to share perspectives, spark new conversations and strengthen the way these issues are covered.
It will also mark the launch of a one-off print magazine featuring stories from the project, and the beginning of a new environmental journalism network in Scotland.
