Regional Migration Network Forum, Wagga Wagga, 18 June 2022
The Regional Australia Institute, in partnership with Wagga Wagga City Council and RDA Riverina, invite you to attend a regional migration forum, addressing challenges, solutions, regional best practices and policy recommendations related to regional migration employment systems.
Outcomes from the forum will inform the Australian Government’s review of regional migration.
What will the forum cover?
- How can we get the right skills to the right places?Â
- How do we strike a balance between the needs of regional communities, local economies and the migration system?Â
- What actions are necessary to create employment pathways for regional residents of multicultural backgrounds?

- Regional migrants: international students, temporary and permanent residents, new Australians living in the regional areas.

Regional Migration Forums are hosted by the Regional Australia Institute. In 2024, forums will gather national and regional practitioners and migrant communities to discuss critical issues related to migration and propose recommendations for policy and practice change. Regional Migration Forums are funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts.
