THE RELEASE - BREATHWORK | GLEN INNES
Description
THE RELEASE - BREATHWORK | GLEN INNES
A Sunday evening to put down what you've been carrying and release.
Held on the second Sunday of every month in Glen Innes, The Release is a regular evening space for cacao, breathwork, music, sound and connection.
The week fills up. Life fills up. We hold onto things, sometimes without even realising we're doing it.
The Release is a few hours to step away from all of that.
To slow down. Breathe. Feel whatever is there. Put some of it down.
And then head home into the night.
You don’t need any experience with breathwork.
You don’t need to be “spiritual”.
You don’t need to know what you’re supposed to feel, do or experience.
Just come as you are.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll begin by slowing things down.
There’ll be time to arrive, settle into the space and share ceremonial cacao together before moving into a guided breathwork journey.
The breathwork itself is an immersive experience supported by music, live instruments, sound and scent.
Every experience is different.
There might be stillness. There might be emotion. There might be laughter, tears, movement, sound or deep rest.
Or you might simply spend a few hours away from everything and walk out feeling a little lighter and clearer than when you walked in.
There is nothing you need to achieve here.
No performance. No expectation. No pressure to have some enormous breakthrough.
Just space to breathe, feel and let go of whatever you're ready to let go of.
THE BREATHWORK
The breathwork is guided throughout, so you don’t need to know what you’re doing beforehand.
You’ll be invited into a conscious connected breathing practice while lying comfortably on your mat.
Music, live instruments, sound and scent are woven throughout the experience, with periods of active breathing balanced with opportunities to slow down, rest and integrate.
You are always in control of your own experience.
You can slow your breathing, return to normal breathing, sit up or stop at any point.
THE CACAO
We’ll share ceremonial cacao together before the breathwork begins.
For us, cacao is part of slowing down, gathering intentionally and arriving into the space together before we breathe.
There’s no pressure to drink a particular amount. You're welcome to have less or choose not to drink cacao at all.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Maybe life has been busy lately.
Maybe you’ve been carrying a lot.
Maybe you've done breathwork before and know it's something you want to keep coming back to.
Maybe you’ve never done it and you're wondering what all the fuss is about.
Maybe Sunday evening rolls around and you just want a few hours to yourself before another week begins.
Or maybe you don't really know why this caught your attention.
That's enough.
You don't need previous experience with cacao, breathwork or ceremony.
You don't need to arrive as any particular version of yourself.
Come as you are.

HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS
Conscious connected breathwork can be physically and emotionally intense and may not be appropriate for everyone.
Please contact Brendan before booking if you are pregnant or have a history of cardiovascular conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, epilepsy or seizures, severe respiratory conditions, recent major surgery or injury, or another medical or psychological condition that may be affected by intensive breathwork.
This allows us to explain the practice and any available modifications, but we cannot determine your individual medical suitability for participation.
If you are uncertain whether participating is appropriate for you, please speak with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional beforehand.
The practice can be modified and participation is always your choice. You are welcome to slow down, return to normal breathing or stop at any point.
A REGULAR SPACE TO RELEASE
The Release happens on the second Sunday of every month.
It's not about forcing yourself to let go of something or digging around looking for stuff that needs healing.
Sometimes there'll be something there.
Sometimes there won't.
Sometimes you might breathe hard, make noise, cry or move something that's been sitting there for a while.
Other times you might lie there, breathe, listen to the music and have the deepest rest you've had all week.
Either way, you don't have to manufacture anything.
The space is here.
Cacao. Breath. Music. Connection.
Put down what you can.
Take a breath.
Then head home into the night.
