Event description

Sound Healing Project Brisbane

A Donation-Based Community Event with Monica Posada & Jen Valdes

Saturday, February 8th, 5 PM at West End Yoga

Join us for an evening of healing sound and deep restoration! Experience the vibrations of singing bowls and gongs as you journey beyond the everyday mind and into a space of profound peace.

What if you were never meant to go at the pace of everyone else? What if you were never meant to follow the crowd?

What if this feeling of discomfort is actually a gentle invitation - a whisper calling you to listen deeper, to check in with yourself, to recognise that you're uniquely, perfectly you.

Within you lies a pulse that beats at its own pace. A rhythm that only you know.

A symphony that allows you to shine your brightest light.

Trust your own rhythm. Embrace its sweet melody.

But it requires deep listening - getting quiet enough to tune in, becoming intimate with its gentle guidance.

For in order to hear your rhythm, you must get still, get present, and recognise that your rhythm flows from the same source as all of Life itself.

It is the pulse of Love moving through you, guiding you home to your truest expression.

What to Expect

Your journey will begin with a guided meditation led by Monica from Sol Being, helping you to settle into your body and release the day's tension.

This gentle preparation will open the way for the sound bath experience, where you'll be immersed in the healing vibrations of singing bowls, gongs, and other sacred instruments.

During the sound bath, you'll be invited to simply rest and receive.

Some sounds will be gentle and flowing, others deep and grounding.

You might experience a sense of floating, deep relaxation, or even drift into a peaceful sleep - all responses are welcome and natural.

Please Bring

  • Yoga mat (we have a handful to borrow)
  • Blanket and pillow for comfort (highly recommended!!!!)
  • Water bottle
  • Comfortable, loose clothing

Optional

  • Eye pillow/mask or light shawl to cover your eyes
  • A journal - in case inspiration strikes

After the Session

Many people feel deeply relaxed, peaceful, or energetically cleansed after a sound healing session.

We recommend taking some quiet time afterward to integrate the experience.

You might feel like journaling, taking a gentle walk, or simply sitting quietly before driving home.
