Description

✨ The Sound of Stillness 3.0 ✨

Following two beautiful evenings of rest, music and connection, The Sound of Stillness returns for its third edition.

As the year begins to draw to a close and the festive season approaches, life can often feel a little fuller, busier and louder. This evening is an invitation to step away from the noise, slow down and create a little space for yourself.

The Sound of Stillness 3.0 brings together restorative yoga, live piano music, essential oils and an immersive sound bath in a warm, candlelit space designed to encourage deep rest and relaxation. Throughout the evening, you'll be gently guided into a series of fully supported restorative yoga postures, allowing your body to settle and soften while the beautiful live piano of Leon fills the room.

Carefully selected essential oils will add another layer to the sensory experience, before we transition into an immersive sound bath led by Ingrid featuring crystal singing bowls, chimes and other beautiful instruments.

Whether you've joined us before or are experiencing The Sound of Stillness for the very first time, this evening is an opportunity to pause, reconnect with yourself and simply receive. Wrap yourself in blankets, settle into stillness and allow yourself to be carried by the gentle combination of movement, music, scent and sound.

No previous yoga or meditation experience is required. Everyone is welcome.

Your evening includes

FAQs

  • Do I need to be experienced in yoga?

No experience is necessary. This evening is designed to be gentle, accessible and welcoming to all. Restorative yoga uses props to fully support the body, allowing you to relax into each posture without effort or strain. Whether you're new to yoga or a regular practitioner, you're invited to simply come as you are and enjoy the experience.

  • What should I bring?

The studio will be warm and heated, but we recommend wearing soft, comfortable clothing that you can easily relax in.

You're welcome to bring a pillow, your favourite blanket, a water bottle or keep cup.

Bolsters, blankets and other yoga props will be provided. We also have a limited number of yoga mats available, so if you're able to bring your own mat, that's welcomed too. You're also invited to bring any personal comfort items like blankets and eye pillows/masks that help you feel more at ease.

Our intention is to create a warm, cosy and nurturing space where you can completely unwind, so please bring whatever helps you feel most comfortable. ✨🕯️🍵🪷

  • Is there parking available?

Yes. The studio has local and street parking available around Main Street and nearby side streets. We kindly encourage you to allow a little extra time to find parking and make your way to the studio, so you can arrive feeling relaxed and ready to enjoy the evening.

Our experience will begin promptly at 6:00pm.

  • Is restorative yoga pregnancy-friendly?

Restorative yoga can be a beautiful way to slow down, rest and support your wellbeing during pregnancy.

If you're pregnant, we kindly ask that you let us know when booking or upon arrival so we can offer appropriate modifications where needed.

If you have any questions whether this event is suitable for you, please don't hesitate to get in touch - we'd be happy to help.
