VPWG Theme - Pot Luck (Open)

Welcome back and Happy New Year, everyone! At our first meeting in 2025, we will have much new to report. But we will meet, as usual, at 6.30 pm for a 6.45 pm start. Note the 'Potluck' theme - you can write about anything you like for this meeting.
We will, also as usual, read from our stories (up to 1000 words) and follow each reading with constructive and friendly criticism. Those who do not have a story are still welcome to the meeting. The last person to have read his or her story at the previous meeting will be the first to read it at the next meeting! We will also try to accommodate those who have to leave early.
At the meeting of 29 March 2018, we decided to increase the contributions by attendees of each meeting from $3.00 to $5.00. This is necessary because of the cost of renting the Centre for the Arts. Those for whom the increase is a hardship can continue to pay $3.00 provided they let JJ (El Presidente) know.
At the meeting of 5 July 2018 we decided that the age of participants in our meetings be restricted to 18 and above. At the meeting of 25 October 2018, we decided that owing to the increased size of the group, and the growing number of stories presented at each meeting, it was necessary to restrict the time available to discuss each story.
