Moving Theory U from Theory to Practice: "How do we do our work in today’s world?"
Event description
If the questions at the bottom of the U are “Who am I?” and “What is my work?” then the question that takes us up the right side is: “How do we do our work in today’s world?”
This generative community is intended for seasoned U.labbers who desire more focus on moving up the right side of the U, including:
Deepening skills around working with emergence
Resourcing yourself for continual resilience
Moving through application in your sphere of influence
Developing prototype confidence
Whether it’s a project, a pipe dream, or whether it’s how you live your life, the intention is application. This hub will meet you where you are and make room for you to experience what you need to deepen and move forward. Using SPT, visual sensing, journaling, and a variety of u.lab tools, we’ll work with emergence on both a personal and a social field level.
This community supports deepening and resourcing our internal states while answering the core question, “How do we do our work in today’s world?”

We've been active in the u.lab ecosystem since 2015 as learners, hub hosts, members of hub host holding, SPT sensing and 4D mapping teams. We co-host the SPT Jam, an emergent, co-creative, edge-pushing space for advanced practitioners. We apply awareness based systems change as facilitators and coaches in schools, nonprofits and business.
We are passionate about working with the unknown, adapting u-tools for emergent situations, and holding generative space. We're excited to co-create this experience with you!
