Event description

Grave Runners and Tempo Journal Presents 3NGRAV3D Exhibition

Mindfulness Workshop with Ursula Griffen from REMiND

We live in a connection desert. We get sucked into the scroll more often than a conversation. We feel lost as a society, off compass to what really keeps us alive.

Being in the Support Crew for the Grave Runners TSP team taught me something; that supporting each other through hard things builds unbreakable bonds. Within 3 days, we became a family.

"The love for the crew and the other five runners grows deeper each day as I look back on the monolith of a run we just did. They say running isn’t a team sport. Well this was. Six runners, four crew, a photographer, and two vehicles, all working in harmony." - Nick Phipps

I questioned what created this, how are these sorts of unbreakable bonds made? Is this why people do extreme ultra races? Is this why run club culture has blossomed? Why did we think it was even a good idea to enter the TSP? Did we expect this feeling of love to be a result of doing it? Should we be challenging ourselves more in community and with friends? Would this make our lives better and our society? Is this what we need to build a resilient and happy world?

I invite you to join this explorative conversation with me, through storytelling, presence and safety. I will facilitate a series of exercises to deepen our thinking around connection in the modern world and evoke inspiration for you to create a meaningful life.

This event is koha (donation based). We will be serving hot drinks and cacao on arrival.
