This Sept: Mindful Circle Art Workshop!
Event description
Mind & Body Psychology are excited to be hosting this September Mindful Art workshop for Adults in our heritage, light-filled clinic.
MINDFUL ART WORKSHOP FOR ADULTS:
Are you struggling to find time for yourself? Wishing you could build more creativity and 'me time' into your life and better manage stress, anxiety, and your well-being?
Join illustrator and educator Lou Endicott in exploring how mindful circle art can be a fun and relaxing way to unwind and bring yourself into the present moment.
Geometric circle art has long been used in many different cultures as a way to help humans communicate, express themselves, record stories, and/or become grounded, connected, and calm (e.g., Aboriginal circles and concentratic circles; Celtic knots, triskeles, and spirals; and Mandalas, across various spiritual traditions, e.g., Hindu and Buddhist religions).
In this workshop, your facilitator Lou will guide you to draw your own mindful geometric circle art with simple step by step exercises. Soothing, relaxing, meditative, and grounding, this workshop provides all the materials for you to make beautiful intricate geometric circle art.
