THRIVE Masterclass: How to Run Impactful 1:1s
Event description
Who is this masterclass for?
This session is designed for newly promoted or early-stage leaders (up to one year in role) who are building their leadership practice and want to create meaningful, effective one-to-one check-ins with their team members. Whether you’re setting up 1:1s for the first time or want to refine how you’re currently running them — this is for you.
What is this masterclass about?
One-to-ones are one of the most powerful yet underused tools in leadership. When done well, they go far beyond status updates — creating space for growth, alignment, feedback, and connection.
In this 90-minute live virtual session, you’ll explore how to make your one-to-ones more intentional, effective, and motivating for your team. We’ll break down what makes these conversations impactful, how to tailor your approach to different team members, and how to turn one-to-ones into a consistent rhythm that builds trust and performance over time.
We’ll also look at common pitfalls, and how to co-create structure, frequency, and focus that actually work in the flow of a fast-paced team.
What will you learn?
In this masterclass, you will:
✔ Understand the core purpose and power of well-run one-to-ones
✔ Learn how to structure your 1:1s to support trust, clarity, and growth
✔ Explore how to adjust your approach based on team needs, styles, and situations
✔ Leave with a practical template and coaching-style questions to apply immediately
