Play-Based Learning for Babies & Toddlers

Tiny Teach offers developmentally appropriate, play-based learning classes for babies and toddlers aged 0-3.

Sessions are led by Tessa, a degree-qualified teacher with a background in early childhood and primary education, bringing research-informed practice into every class.

Classes are calm, engaging and designed for families to explore play together. Parents and carers are encouraged to ask questions, connect with facilitators and build community with other attendees.

Classes are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 15 families in each session, to support connection, focused play and meaningful interactions. Many families return each term, so places can fill quickly once bookings open.

Term 3 Classes Run on Thursdays & Fridays

🕘 9:15 am - 10:15 am
🕚 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Each session begins with group music and connection time, followed by open-ended play experiences designed to support early development.

Each class includes:

Sensory & creative play
Exploring textures, colours, sounds and smells.

Music & language
Songs and sound play to support early communication.

Movement activities
Tummy time, rolling, sitting, crawling, cruising, walking, climbing and jumping.

Fine motor skill development
Eye-hand coordination, grabbing, grasping and transferring.

Imaginative & social play
Turn-taking, emotional regulation and creative thinking.

At Tiny Teach, we support parents with ideas and simple strategies to continue play and learning at home. Throughout the session we explain the purpose behind each activity and how it supports child development.
