Tītime with Tāua!

Nau mai, haere mai. Come and join us for Tītime with Tāua, a warm, welcoming space where whānau gather to share kōrero, laughter, kai, and the timeless wisdom of our kuia and koro.

Held every second Monday from 10am to 12pm, Tītime with Tāua is a kaupapa rooted in aroha and intergenerational connection. Whether you're looking to strengthen your cultural identity, find a sense of belonging, or simply enjoy good company and a hot cuppa - this space is for you.

Guided by our tāua (and koro are welcome too!), each session creates a safe and nurturing environment where mātauranga Māori is shared through stories, gentle teachings, and open kōrero. There's no pressure, no agenda, just whānau, wisdom, and warmth.

A typical session includes:

• Karakia and settling in

• Whakawhanaungatanga — getting to know one another

• Open kōrero led by our Tāua

• Pūrākau, cultural teachings and reflections

• Gentle guidance on life, relationships, wellbeing and identity

• Shared kai to close the space

This kaupapa is gentle, uplifting and open to all — a chance to breathe, reconnect, and be held in the wisdom of our elders.
