Welcome to Topsoil! A regional farming and culture festival that takes a closer look at our hyper-local food system.

About this event

A food and culture festival that puts farmers first!!

Why do our experts think we only have 59 harvests left?

What does hyper-local/food-miles/organic/biodynamic/sustainable etc. even mean?

Where does your food & booze come from?

How can I contribute to a more ethical/moderate food system?

At 'Top soil' you'll smell, taste, imbibe and experience the answer to these and so many more questions. You'll have the opportunity to communicate and learn first-hand from the work of some of our Australian farming pioneers, the forgotten heroes of our regional food system. Alongside this, we seek to highlight the human component of our food systems, the benefits of farming on our psychology and the ways in which we can reintegrate society through more naturalistic mechanisms.
