Tour of Gold Coast International Airport Terminal

Take a tour of Gold Coast Airport and go behind the scenes of its major southern terminal expansion, officially opened in 2022. This three-level, 30,000sqm upgrade connects seamlessly to the existing terminal and features new international and domestic facilities—including a departures lounge, border control, four aerobridges, and swing gates that support both domestic and international operations.

The project created over 2,000 local jobs and includes new shops, cafés, six additional gates, a modern baggage handling area, seven escalators and nine lifts—enabling the airport to now accommodate up to 19 aircraft on the tarmac.
