TOXIC SURF - Community Arts Exhibition

TOXIC SURF [Mid Coast] brings together local artists, scientists, surfers, divers, environmental stewards, activists, ecological grief counsellors, researchers, affected industries, First Nations voices and ocean-loving community members to bring awareness to the long-standing calls to protect our waterways.

It tells our collective story as a community affected by ecological grief and spotlights the campaigns addressing the harmful algal bloom Karenia mikimotoi and its devastating impact on South Australia’s coastline and community. 

Be empowered to join a local grassroots environmental initiative or community action group working to protect and care for our waterways and coastline.
