    Join Specialist Social Worker and Psychosexual Therapist Candice Care-Unger for this 2.5 hour hybrid workshop that aims to provide information, knowledge and confidence to support workers and health professionals to understand the role of sexual assistive technology in supporting our clients' sexual wellbeing needs.

    Participants will be able to:

    • Define Sexuality and Intimacy
    • Develop an understanding of common functional difficulties.
    • Develop a broad understanding of the available tools to support sexuality needs
    • Consider the need and use of positional support
    • Plus lots more!

    About the presenter

    Candice Care-Unger (she/her) has a dual professional background. Candice is an experienced specialist social worker with a demonstrated history of working in hospital & community Spinal Cord Injury rehabilitation settings for the past 18 years across Sydney, Rural NSW, Brisbane, Scotland and New York. Candice is also a qualified Sexologist and member of the Society of Australian Sexologists. Candice has post graduate qualifications in sexual health and reproduction, a Masters in Public Health and a Bachelor of Social Work from University of Sydney. Candice is located in Sydney NSW, however provides virtual services across Australia. You can read more about Candice's work here
