Get back to the fundamentals with the five important elements of dance – body, action, space, time and energy.

With professional dancers (to be announced), explore and learn:

Ideation techniques for creating your own dance with your class
Choreographic devices, including repetition, mirroring, contrast
How to use the body and its place in space to create images and share ideas
How the order of your dance impacts how narratives and ideas are perceived
Body awareness to support student to be safe while participating
Options for recording your dance to support rehearsals and sharing

A certificate of professional learning will be provided. This professional learning workshop will support you in demonstrating the following AITSL Australian Professional Standards for Teacher: 3.4, 4.1, 4.4, 6.4
