Traction Labs | Bold Moves
Description
TRACTION LABS | BOLD MOVES
Give your idea a day.
That business idea you've been sitting on. The side project you keep coming back to. The problem you've spotted but haven't quite figured out how to solve.
What if you gave it one day to see where it could go?
Traction Labs | Bold Moves is a one-day, hands-on innovation sprint for women who want to explore a business idea, test what's possible and work out what comes next.
Whether you're starting from scratch, exploring a new opportunity or already running a business, this is your chance to step away from the everyday and give your idea some focused attention.
No business plan. No polished pitch. No jargon. Bring it half-formed.
One day. Your idea. Real progress.
This isn't another workshop where you sit, listen and leave with a notebook full of inspiration.
You'll be working on your own idea.
With practical activities, fresh perspectives and support along the way, you'll explore what you're trying to create, who it's for and what it might take to make it work.
Throughout the day, you'll:
Explore your idea: Get clear on the problem you're solving and who you're solving it for.
Challenge your assumptions: Explore what you know, what you're guessing and what you need to test.
Build something tangible: Develop a simple prototype or way to demonstrate your idea.
Shape your story: Learn how to explain your idea clearly and why it matters.
Decide what's next: Leave with practical steps to keep moving forward.
The goal isn't to build an entire business in a day.
It's to leave with a stronger idea, something tangible and a clearer next move.
Meet your facilitator: Sam Garven
Sam Garven will guide you through a practical, collaborative day of exploring ideas, challenging assumptions and finding ways to move forward.
Rather than standing at the front telling you how to build a business, Sam will work alongside participants, helping you ask better questions, explore possibilities and turn your thinking into action.
This is your idea. Sam is here to help you move it forward.
Who is Bold Moves for?
Bold Moves is for women who have an idea, opportunity or business challenge they'd like to explore.
You might be thinking about starting a business, developing a new product or service, testing a side project or taking an existing business in a new direction.
It's particularly suited to women who are short on time or don't see themselves in traditional startup culture.
You don't need experience, a registered business or all the answers.
Just bring something you're curious about and willing to explore.
More than just one day
Your Traction Labs | Bold Moves registration includes:
Bold Company evening: Join us from 5pm for cocktails, substantial canapés and conversation with women from across our community. Valued at $100 and optional to attend.

Six months of follow-up support: Access expert appointments, cohort check-ins and an alumni gathering to help maintain momentum beyond the Lab.
An opportunity to share your idea
At Bold Company, you'll also have the option to share what you've been working on with women from across the community.
It's a relaxed opportunity to talk about your idea, make connections and meet people who might be able to help you take it further.
Presenting is entirely optional.
Ready to see what your idea could become?
You don't need to have everything figured out before you arrive.
You just need to be willing to give your idea a go.
One day. Your business idea. Your next bold move.
Places are limited. Secure your spot.
