ATMS’ highly popular Transition to Practice Seminar returns to Sydney in February 2025
Back by popular demand ATMS’ practical one-day special event – Transition to Practice will return to Sydney early next year.
This event is designed for students and practitioners looking to start their own clinic. Attendees leave with confidence and essential tips to set up a successful clinic and business.
ATMS’ Transition to Practice Seminar will be hosted on Saturday 8 February in Sydney from 9:30am – 4:30pm AEDT.

This is a great opportunity to network, learn and engage in-person with three highly experienced presenters – Christine Pope, President of ATMS and successful business owner; Cheryl Alderman, Business/Executive Coach and Social Media Consultant, and Natalie Hume, ATMS’ Education and Partnership Manager and experienced practitioner.
Participants will gain valuable insights and practical tips to help them get started in clinic, have the opportunity to ask questions, start building important relationships with peers and connect with suppliers in the natural medicine industry.

- How to set up and manage your marketing and finances
- How to create a website and build your business through social media
- What you can do to prepare for practice before you graduate
- Career advice and tips for new graduates entering the business world.

Early bird tickets from $49 for ATMS Student Members or $95 for ATMS Members (plus earn 6 CPE points!).

Meet The Presenters:
Christine Pope:
Christine is an experienced Naturopath and natural medicine practitioner, ATMS President, Chair of the ATMS Marketing Committee, and Director with the Council of Small Business Organisations Australia (COSBOA).
Christine runs her own clinical practice in St Ives, has taught numerous workshops and has previously been a lecturer at Nature Care College. She holds degrees in Health Sciences (Complementary Medicine) and Commerce (Accounting Finance and Systems).
Cheryl Alderman:
Cheryl Alderman is a Business/Executive Coach & Social Media Consultant, with a solid corporate background and many years’ experience working with both corporates and small businesses.
As the owner of two businesses herself, Be Ultimate Coaching and Social4U, she understands the challenges involved and the strategies required to succeed.
A regular speaker at conference events around Australia, Cheryl is passionate about everything she does - and it's contagious!
Natalie Hume:
Natalie has over 15 years’ experience in the natural medicine industry as a Naturopath and is the Education and Partnerships Manager at ATMS.
Natalie is passionate about continued education and supporting the continual development of knowledge within the industry. Building strong relationships with our partner network, Natalie is able to bring new products/services to the ATMS events so attendees can learn firsthand about the latest industry offerings.
