National Tree Planting Day
The day starts with planting to support remnant vegetation at Thompson Reserve, Inverloch.
Meet at SGCS shed. Park near cricket nets via the Cuttriss Street entrance to the Reserve.
We will then stop for a BBQ lunch at 12.30pm hosted by Wonthaggi Rotary at the Carney's Road site in Wonthaggi.
Work then continues at the Carney's Rd site nurturing the trees planted there previously, including removing tree guards.
Please bring gloves and water, sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for the weather forecast - possible rain!
