    THE CONTEXT:

    The relationship we have with ourselves is the single longest partnership we have with anyone in our lives and yet we invest little to no time, energy and attention in ensuring it is a healthy one.

    When it comes to the challenges, obstacles and opportunities we all face as part of a 24/7, “always on”, high-change environment of life and business, self-talk can be our biggest enemy or our most powerful ally.

    For women this is especially relevant as study after study shows that women lack self-confidence, self-esteem and self-belief at various stages throughout their working lives.

    Women regularly experience self-doubt and internal struggle with identity and stereotypes (creating role-conflicts like motherhood vs career, woman vs leader), gendered life events (including pregnancy, infertility, returning from parental leave, and peri/menopause), and gendered ageism as we reach our 40's, 50's and beyond, ALL leading to negative impacts on our quality of life, career success, and wellbeing.

    If you want to BE and DO more in your life you'll benefit from developing your ability to connect more deeply with your “self”; build your confidence and self-esteem; own your full potential; and embrace vulnerability and discomfort to stretch into new opportunities or make the most of the ones you have in your hands right now.

    "The most important conversation is the one you have with yourself." Kate Billing

    WHO IS 'TUNE IN' FOR AND WHAT TO EXPECT:

    Tune In: Unlocking the Power of Self-talk is for womenwho want to:

    • Quieten self-doubt and negative self-talk
    • Change the conversation with their Inner Critic
    • Access their Inner Coach and deal with 'Imposter Syndrome'
    • Increase their sense of personal power; and
    • Better support their mental and emotional wellbeing.

    Tune In: Unlocking the Power of Self-talk provides an opportunity to increase your awareness of the way the brain is wired and the constant stream of ‘chatter’ it creates between your ears. We explore the negative impact this has if left unchecked and the power it offers as a guide and self-coaching tool when harnessed.

    This workshop brings women together as a learning community to share our experiences and insights as we explore our internal dialogue, the impact it’s having, and how to tune in and take charge of it.

    The spacious 2-day conversational design allows you to reflect on, connect with and share your own experience; to learn from the experience of others; and to contextualise new mental models, tools, and practices within your own reality. PLUS you'll leave with a self-set action plan and an Accountability Buddy for support.

    Day One runs from 10.00am to 5.00pm and Day Two is from 9.00am to 3.30pm.  This creates space for you to have a stress free start to the experience with more time in the morning of our first day (especially if travelling from out of town) and then time to integrate learning at the end of our second day.

    WORKSHOP OUTCOMES

    1. A new awareness and wider perspective on your internal dialogue;
    2. Personal insights and self-coaching practices to implement immediately to improve your ability to tune in to and take charge of self-talk;
    3. A new understanding of, appreciation for and relationship with your Inner Critic
    4. Identified opportunities to develop new habits and practices to grow your ability to use ‘chatter’ as a self-coaching tool; and
    5. A Support Buddy to partner with as you both do the work to integrate your learnings and action your inspired actions.

    Feedback from previous Tune In participants:

    “Kate’s expert facilitation immediately created a supportive and safe environment for the participants to share our thoughts, feelings and experiences. She packed in a huge amount of knowledge and techniques for listening and responding to our self-talk, without it ever feeling rushed. The activity sessions were especially helpful as they gave us an opportunity to immediately apply what we were learning. I have found that daily practice of the tools taught in the Tune In workshop is transforming my life.” - Daria Williamson, Business Owner

    “Kate has deep knowledge and experiences to draw from so the course content is always meaningful, appropriately contextualised and facilitated with just the right amount of challenge to ensure we left feeling fully accountable for and more in control of our future selves. For anyone who needs to become more aware of the impact of your own thoughts on your behaviours, ‘Tune In’ and the exceptional Kate Billing need to be on your personal development plan for the year.” – Jacqui Simpson, HR Director & Masters of Technology Student

    “I was lucky enough to attend the Tune In workshop with Kate recently and it was extraordinary. Kate is a wonderful mix of smarts, humour and human compassion. She had us laughing, thinking, connecting, planning, doing (and the odd bit of crying) and I now have some simple tools in my kit to manage my headspace. We don't often spend time on our brains, we expect them to work their best while we continue to pile more and more into them. Kate made us all realise how important it is to look after our thoughts and internal processes. I recommend this workshop 120%.” – Angela Barnett, Founder of Pretty Smart NZ

    “Don’t let who you’re being get in the way of who you could become.” Kate Billing
