Event description

🌿 Tweens Acrylic Painting on Canvas | Mini Workshop | Kate Kennedy | Art in the Park 2025

Join local Northern Beaches artist, Kate Kennedy, for a creative and fun mini workshop designed especially for tweens. In this hands-on session, participants will explore acrylic painting techniques and create their own artwork inspired by the Northern Beaches. Perfect for ages 8–14, this workshop encourages creativity and artistic expression in a supportive environment.

Parents are welcome to 'drop and go' or there is an Adults Pottery Class happening simultaneously at the same location, so parents interested can sign up and enjoy their own creative session at the same time.

📅 When: Saturday 30th August 2025
Time: 11:45am - 12:45pm
📍 Where: Northern Beaches Community Hall, 24 Wallace Street, Bucasia

👥 Participants: Tweens (ages 8–14)

💲 Cost: $20.00

👉 What to bring: A water bottle and suitable clothing for painting and being creative — expect to get a little messy, so please wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting paint on.

🚶 Starting on time: Please allow time to find parking, check in, and settle in so the workshop can begin promptly. Thank you for respecting the start time.

⚠️ Access and inclusion: If you have access or inclusion considerations, please contact nbcweek@gmail.com — we’re happy to work with you to make this experience inclusive.

📸 Photography & video: Photos and video clips will be recorded during this session. By attending, you consent to these being used for promotional purposes by the event organisers.
