Event description

Join us for an exclusive screening of Project Fiftyone, a compelling documentary that follows UC alum Bariz Shah and his wife Saba Afrasyabi on their courageous journey to Afghanistan.

This film documents their journey from New Zealand to Afghanistan to change 51 lives, including their own, in honour of those killed in a terrorist attack in their home town of Christchurch.

After the screening there will be a Q&A session with Bariz and Saba. Ticket includes film admission, dessert and a non-alcoholic drink.

: Cinema open to take seats
7.30pm
: Screening of Project Fiftyone starts
9.15pm

Please note: This film was inspired by the sacrifice and loss of 51 Muslim lives in the Christchurch Mosque attacks. In respect for their legacy, this event will be alcohol-free.
