Event description

Wanslea partners with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to deliver the Early Childhood Approach. The Early Childhood Approach supports families of children under 6 years' who may have a developmental concern, or delay, and children under 9 years who have a permanent disability.

Wanslea invites you to join this free online information session to learn more about the Early Childhood Approach. It may be relevant if you are:

  • A parent or carer looking for more information about how the early childhood approach can support your child
  • A teacher, school, or childcare educator
  • Community support services
  • Allied health professional
  • Treating health professionals

This information session will cover the following:

  • Wanslea and their role as the Early Childhood Partner in the Community to the NDIS
  • The aim of the Early Childhood Approach
  • Best Practice Principles for Early Childhood Intervention
  • Early Childhood Approach pathways of support and eligibility
  • How to refer a child
  • Next steps for accessing the Early Childhood Approach
