We Welcome our UP! Clubbers to Join Us -
Culture Club: Spark UP! Speed Dating and Friendships + Karaoke
Date: Saturday 20 July, 2024
Time: 1:30pm - 7.30pm
Venue: Hotel Harrys, 40/44 Wentworth Ave, Surry Hills NSW 2010 and Dynasty Karaoke 1/63 Dixon St, Haymarket NSW 2000
Culture Club NDIS Service Costs: $390
Out of Pocket Expense: Culture Club - $50 for food and drinks + $20 for 2 hours of Karaoke
Similar to Speed-Dating, Spark UP! is about upskilling conversation and relationships skills by using fun communication tools, such as using conversation cards, asking interesting questions and finding common interests between each other, all while sharing a meal and drinks together!
The conversations will transition to singing and dancing with 2 hours of Karaoke to end the day!
Culture Club Itinerary:

1:30pm | Meet at Central Train Station Grand Concourse (between platforms 1& 2) |
1:30pm -1:45pm | Walk from Central Train Station to Hotel Harrys (750m – 11 minutes). |
1:45pm – 2:30pm | Lunch and drinks |
2:30pm - 4:30pm | Spark UP! activities |
4:30pm – 5:00pm | Walk from Hotel Harrys to Dynasty Karaoke (800m – 11minutes) |
5:00pm-7:00pm | Karaoke! |
7:00pm -7:30pm | Walk from Dynasty to Central Train Station (450m – 6 minutes) |
7:30pm | Pick up at Central Train Station Grand Concourse (between platforms 1 & 2) |

Conversation Card Games
Have a meal and a drink together as an UP! Club family
2 hours of Karaoke. Pick your favourite songs and sing them to the best audience ever! US!
What to Bring:
Opal Card that is topped up to travel on trains, bus or light rail
Money for food and drinks
Photo identification
A fully charged mobile phone
Wear your best outfit and dancing shoes to meet the UP! Club crew!
Stay COVID-safe – if you become unwell, please stay home and do not attend this event

CANCELLATION POLICY
We know plans change but we are so excited to see you! Bookings cancelled 7 days or less before the event date will be charged in full. We trust you understand this as we find it hard to fill your spot after this date. Cancellations must be made in writing to socialprograms@dsansw.org.au.
