International Women's Day 2024

Celebrate International Women's Day with USU!

Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women's equality. Collectively we can all #InspireInclusion. Celebrate women's achievements. Raise awareness about discrimination. Take action to drive gender parity. IWD belongs to everyone, everywhere. 

In celebration and recognition of International Women's Day 2024, the USU will be hosting a line-up of activities and events:

💜Breakfast @ Bevery (10am - 12pm)

Start off the day with a relaxing breakfast at the Bevery, with breakfast catering by our friends at the Courtyard Cafe!
Come along and meet new people, before it's time to head off to the Cullen Room for Birthing Kit Packing! 

💜Birthing Kit Packing @ Cullen Room (12pm - 2pm)

Together we will be packing 400 kits and educating in clean birthing practices for women birthing at home in remote regions of the developing world.

💜Women in Music @ Courtyard (4pm - 6pm)

Join us for an afternoon of music by some local female talent at Courtyard!
Listen to some tunes and make some new friends all here to forge a better world, a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
