VCA Film and Television Pitch Night - Undergraduate and Honours
Event description
VCA Film and Television Pitch Nights return in 2025! Join us in Federation Hall on the Southbank Campus to hear from the next generation of creatives and jump on board their projects. With a broad slate of of genres, styles, and stories, there's a little something for everyone!
Our second pitch night of the year features Animation and Film and Television students graduating from our Undergraduate and Honours programs.Each director or animator will pitch their film to the audience and outline any cast, crew or post production roles they are looking to be filled. There will be a short interval in the middle of the pitches and time to mingle and connect with the VCA filmmakers once the pitches wrap up.

Pitch Night is free to attend, but registrations are required via Humanitix.
Venue
Pitch Night takes place in Federation Hall. Please meet front of house in the Federation Hall foyer via the sliding glass doors on Grant Street, Southbank. The performance space is then accessible via stairs or lift.
Arrival time
Please note that in order to account for drop-off in attendance, we overbook a select number of free events at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music. If you have not arrived by the start of the event, your ticket may be released to any waiting patrons at the door. Please arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the event to secure your seat.
Content Advice
Pitches may include mention of violence, sexual references, coarse language, and other forms of provocative or sensitive material. All films, when screened at final screenings, will be classified as 18+ only - an indication regarding potential content.
