Vegetable Fermentation and Sourdough Breadmaking with Hella


Event description

This is a hands' on workshop where you will learn about the importance of the gut microbiome and be introduced to making sauerkraut, kombucha, kefir, vinegar and sourdough bread.

  • Make and take home 3 different jars of vegetables, to ferment at home;
  • Enjoy a shared meal, tasting a variety of fermented foods and sourdough bread; you might like to bring something to contribute, such as toppings for the bread.
  • Be provided with starters, a detailed handout and recipes. 

Please bring 3 empty glass jars with lids to take home what you have made.
