Join us for our first Venture Up Real Talk — a casual networking event where ideas, stories, and people connect.

Our guest speakers are Jacob Smith, inventor of the woo-lace, and Founder of Steaddi — a brand born from a student project and fuelled by a commitment to sustainability, followed by Alejandro Davila, creator of The Green Fairy and Founder of CONICAL — a creative technologies studio at the forefront of digital innovation, offering cutting-edge services in gamification, the metaverse, augmented and virtual reality, and artificial intelligence.

These AUT innovators will share their journeys from coursework concept to real-world product, and the lessons learned while navigating the early stages of commercialisation and entrepreneurship.
