VIANNE THEATRE
Event description
Beginning in 2007, VIANNE premiered at fortyfivedownstairs in 2008 and was then shown as part of Dance Massive at Dancehouse in 2009.
As a way of recontextualising the work and utilising its resource, VIANNE AGAIN was presented in 2012 and 2013 at Drawing Room D112, School of Art, Monash University, Caulfield Campus; Iwaki Auditorium, ABC Southbank Centre and RMIT, Design Hub. INSIDE VIANNE AGAIN (National Gallery Victoria) an installation with Anne-Marie May and Helen Grogan was presented as part of Melbourne Now 2013.
VIANNE is about the space and place one holds within, one that is also inhabited by and with other people: it is about knowing and how one knows. Where is VIANNE, what does VIANNE know and how does she know it?
VIANNE now inhabits the THEATRE.
