We're all about real connection and conversations, people and their stories, shared over a vino, laugh. Our approach to networking is down to earth, supportive, all about how we can help - no name tags or cringey sales pitches here. Instead this is the type of event which is a fun blend of speed dating for business mixed with the good vibes of friend's dinner party.

There'll be time for socialising before and after, drinks aplenty and nibbles then BIO Founder Jon Sermon will kick things off with some intros before we get underway.

If you're new to networking, relax - no need to stand up on a stage and present your pitch, just share from the heart what you do, what you love about it and who your ideal client is as well as any help you'd like from the group.

How we roll:

🤝  Connect: Mingle with members and guests for REAL conversations where you share what you do, why, with who and how. It's a bit like speed dating but no need to 'seal the deal' here - just good chats and see what flows. Exchange business cards, ideas, and inspiration.

🧠  Learn: Gain insights from BIO Australia Host Jon Sermon as well as from each other. Whether you're new to networking and business or been around the block before, connection is important, now more than ever - remember, it's who you know that often makes the magic!

🔗  Collaborate: Explore synergies with potential partners, clients, and collaborators.

🎉  Celebrate: Share cheers and challenges and build relationships over canapés and fine wine

Here at BIO, we do networking a little differently.

You don't have to own your own business (but it’s cool if you do) or be an entrepreneur, you just need to be open to meeting new people, listening to their tales, connecting differently and sharing ideas.

We’re not leeches… so our members are not about sucking the business (or life) out of you. We work together to help our members solve problems, build their businesses, further their careers or develop themselves. We give people a platform to tell their story and make valuable connections.

We hold monthly events for our members, and if you would like to come along - meet new people and give us a whirl then come along and join us to see what all the fuss is about.

Talking’s great, but sometimes so is listening. 

To make sure each BIO event is interesting, we introduce you to our host for the night. This person will take us on a journey throughout the meet-up and talk briefly on a trending subject that sparks interest. From wine-makers to corporate giants we’ve cherry picked topics that are relevant to all businesses - from retaining your talent to the ever looming robots and AI tech, there’s a little something for everyone.
