Virtual MyTime Group - Mondays Term 3, 7.30pm
Event description
"After each Virtual MyTime session I feel more relaxed and less stressed." - Parent
Virtual MyTime is an online peer support group for families of children with disability or developmental delay. It gives parents who are working or unable to reach a local group the chance to connect online.
During a MyTime session, there is a guided discussion and a space to connect with other families. These discussions offer an opportunity for parents and caregivers to share and learn from each other.
At Virtual MyTime we have practical, encouraging conversations with others who “get it”. We talk about lots of topics that include:
Helping extended family and friends understand our children
Juggling paid work and parenting
Supporting siblings
Planning for school holidays
Answering each other’s questions about the NDIS
Advocating success stories
Tips for working with therapists
