8+ Years: Letting Go of Guilt: Virtual Autism MyTime
Event description
Guilt. Regret. Second-guessing. Sound familiar?
Many parents of Autistic children carry guilt that lingers for years, about missing early signs, choosing the “wrong school”, losing their patience, or just not having the energy some days.
Together, we’ll discuss where guilt shows up, why it’s so persistent, and how to begin letting it go with compassion for ourselves.
In this peer group, we’ll explore:
Why guilt hangs on, even years after diagnosis
How our parenting expectations can quietly punish us
Letting go of comparisons and perfect parent’ pressure
Ways to reframe the past and give yourself credit
