Are you looking to connect with other parents and carers who truly understanding what it’s like? With no agenda and no pressure, this session is all about you, a space to feel heard, supported, and understood. 
 
This peer group offers: 

  • A safe and welcoming place to share your experiences 

  • A judgement-free space to ask questions and receive support 

  • A chance to connect with others who understand the unique joys and challenges of raising a child with disability 

This group is facilitated by Kylie: 
Kylie is a mum to two neurodivergent kids who continue to shape how she sees the world. She loves walking alongside families with a gentle, strengths-based approach that helps everyone thrive. 

 
Who This Event Is For 

  • Parents and carers of children aged from birth to 18 years old with disability, developmental delay, autism, rare or genetic conditions, and medical needs. 

 

What to Expect 

  • Interactive sessions guided by an experienced parent peer facilitator 

  • A welcoming space to talk, connect, share experiences and learn together with other parents and carers. 

  • Sessions are not recorded to respect and protect participants’ privacy

  • This event will be held online via Zoom.  

  • MyTime is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services and nationally coordinated by the Parenting Research Centre.
