Voices and Viols: An Evening of Early Chamber Music 

5.30 - 7.30pm Fri 17 May, UQ Art Museum


Please join the University of Queensland School of Music Early Music Performance Project for their first concert of 2024, presented in the UQ Art Museum. 

The program features chamber works for choir, small vocal ensemble, and strings, including William Byrd's Mass for Three Voices and Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina's Jesu Rex Admirabilis. 

Come enjoy an evening of early music amidst contemporary art!

5:30pm: Museum opens for viewing
6pm: Concert begins
7pm: Concert ends
7:30pm: Museum closes

Registration is by optional donation, all attendees welcome. 

Your optional donation supports free UQ Arts programs for UQ and the wider community, provides students with career-shaping workplace experiences, and conserves and grows the UQ Art Collection for future generations.
