🌿 Join VU Student Union for a Reflective Day at the Royal Botanic Gardens
Celebrate Reconciliation Week with VUSU on a tranquil and meaningful experience, Punting on the Lake. Glide across the peaceful Ornamental Lake in a traditional wooden boat, hear stories of Aboriginal culture and connection to Country, and explore hidden corners of the Gardens you can’t reach by foot.

- Relaxed picnic vibes by the lake with breakfast and refreshments at 11:00 AM
- 1-hour guided punting session at 12:00 PM
- Lunch with scenic views at 1:00 PM
- Explore garden trails, lookouts & hidden spots at 2:00 PM
- Conclude and farewell at 3:00 PM

- This is a self-arrival event – please plan your transport/public transport in advance.
- Make sure your Myki card is topped up if travelling by public transport.
- Bring your weather-suitable essentials and be prepared for unexpected changes:
