WA Youth Awards 2026

Join us for the 27th annual WA Youth Awards at the Pan Pacific on Friday, 11 September!

The evening promises to be a wonderful celebration to recognise young Western Australians aged 10 to 25 years for their achievements and contributions to the community. The Awards also reward outstanding groups, organisations, and youth workers that work and support the state’s young people.

The evening unfolds as a gala ceremony with a seated three-course dinner with drinks, all inclusive of the ticket price. The evening includes award presentations, musical performances from young artists, and a set menu.

The WA Youth Awards is run by the Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA), Western Australia's peak body for young people and the youth sector. The WA Youth Awards is made possible thanks to our major partners, Lotterywest, Department of Communities, and RAC, alongside our category sponsors, Carers WA, the Commissioner for Children and Young People, ECU, MercyCare, Mission Australia, Uplyft, The Y WA, and Youth Focus.

About the event

• Registration and pre-dinner canapes from 6:30pm

• Official proceedings begin at 7:00pm

Dietary requirements

Guests are able to select their dietary requirements when purchasing their ticket.

Dress code

Cocktail attire is encouraged, but guests are welcome to dress in whatever feels most comfortable.

Getting there

A dedicated taxi/rideshare rank and driveway loop is accessible via Hill Street. 

Public Transport: Pan Pacific is located on Adelaide Terrace which has considerable bus thoroughfare. Perth Underground Train Station, Elizabeth Quay Train Station, and Elizabeth Quay Busport are all nearby. 

You can use the Transperth JourneyPlanner to plan your specific journey. 

The event takes place in the Golden Ballroom, Level 2, which is accessible by elevator and stairs.

If you are unsure of where to go upon arriving, please ask a Pan Pacific staff member at the reception desk. They will be happy to help. There will be WA Youth Awards screens/signs to point you in the right direction. 

Parking

Pan Pacific parking is accessible via Hill Street at a discounted 40% off. Discount barcodes will be provided during the gala ceremony which can be scanned at the parking lot exit gates.

Other parking is available throughout the city, including the nearby Terrace Road Car Park. 

Accessibility

Pan Pacific is accessible, with elevators operational and a ramp attached to the presentation stage. A low sensory room will be available if you need to step out of the ballroom at any time. A sign will be set up to direct you there. If you have any access requirements that weren’t recorded at the time of booking, please email us to so that we can assist you.

Restrooms: Restrooms are located near the event room, with accessible and gender-neutral facilities available.
