WAG Art Gallery Membership 2024 to 2025

Membership Application 

This application will be presented at the next committee meeting. 

I wish to apply for membership of the Woolgoolga Art Group Inc and understand the following conditions apply: 

Conditions of membership: 

1. As a member, and subject to the conditions of the Group, I am able to place my original art or craft work in the gallery for sale. All work is displayed at the owner’s risk. 
2. All works sold at the gallery are subject to commission. 25% active members/40% non-active members 
3. Membership entitles me to attend meetings of the Group. I understand that I can write a submission to the committee and vote at General meetings. 
4. I agree to carry out rostered gallery duty for 3 hours each month and to carry out such tasks as are required ie. desk duty, cleaning. gardening etc. Duty is required for members under the age of 85 years and unless mutually agreed arrangements are made.
   
5. I agree to having my artworks photographed for publicity purposes.
6. I have not been denied membership or expelled from any other organisation in the past 10 years. 
7. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the group.

Membership subscriptions are due on 1 July each year.  The membership year is from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.

Membership fee covers insurance while volunteering at the Gallery and Gallery events. 

Annual General Meeting is held in September. 

The gallery is a ‘not for profit group’. It has no GST liability. GST liability is the responsibility of the artist, not the gallery.
