Water Prayer- intro to Elemental Wisdom

We come together to Pray for the waters, we will sing, and make an altar in reverence to the water, to heal/ re-awaken/ deepen our connection to the water.
We are so lucky, to be surrounded by rivers and ocean here in the northern rivers.
& as we all know - It has been raining and flooding non stop here recently,
some of us may even be a little traumatised by all that has gone on. 
Regardless of whether you believe the rain is from geo-engineering, climate change or just the natural cycles of the earth. This is an opportunity to reconnect with the simple truths of nature and the element of Water;
to shift our focus from feelings of unsafely in the body that some of us may feel when we hear heavy consistent rain, and shift it back to feelings of reverence.
The waters have been taking it all for us, including all our shit! (not just energetically!!)
4 megalitres of raw sewage has been going into our oceans each day. 
This is no way to treat our sacred waters.
Something we aren't necessarily able to control is physically fixing the sewage plant ourselves (apart from signing petitions), though something we can do, is positively effect the waters with our collective intention and prayer.
So I invite us all to come together; to pray, sing, make offerings. 
In doing so I will introduce you to the offering I created; Elemental Wisdom. A series of workshops where we spend time together each week in ritual for 4 weeks, cultivating a deeper connection to the elements- to implement and foster our connection to be part of our daily lives.
When we make this effort to more deeply connect to the elements, we then bring ourselves into aligned action for each other, for ourselves, for the Earth and all of creation. 

***What to bring***
- Drink bottle
- Instruments (rattle, medicine drum etc)
- Cup
- Cushion, sheepy, blanket (anything you need to feel cosy) 
- Yoga matt
- Items for the altar (Crystals, River/beach Rocks, Shells, Flowers etc)

This event is by donation to go towards the cost of hiring the space Sliding Scale between $10-$20 
This is an in person event however there will be a zoom link for those that are interstate or flooded in.
