    2. What are your trigger points for decision making?
    3. What did you learn from previous dry periods?
  2. Be informed of your water needs during any season 
    1. Stock & domestic water requirements over summer
    2. Identify other water needs
    3. Impacts of quality water on livestock performance
  3. Be Aware of your current water storage capacity 
    1. Calculate dam and tank capacity
    2. Calculate losses from evaporation and seepage
    3. Storage shortfalls and options
  4. Feel equipped to deliver the water you need, where and when you need it
    1. Smart water systems for efficient farming - pumps, pipes, tanks and troughs
    2. System value adds - grazing and pasture management

Hear from subject matter expert Adrian Smith, and project support staff from Western Murray Land Improvement Group and Local Land Services. We will be travelling to a nearby dam to look at what has been done there and discuss further benefits of dam and water improvement on livestock production. Complete your farm water management plans with assistance from the experts in the room and take home a resource you can use on your property.
