About the workshop

Join Jo for a session of calm, whimsical watercolour illustration. With spring in the air, it is the perfect time to celebrate the season of new life and birdsong! 

What will I learn?  

In this relaxed session, participants will learn the dynamic wet-on-wet technique to create wonderfully loose and playful images of birds, chooks, or whatever catches their fancy. 

Once dry, participants will add finishing details to their avian creations using felt-tip pens, and will have the option to transform their illustrations into bookmarks or greeting cards to take home.

Things to bring:

·      a water bottle, your lunch and/or snacks

·      your curiosity and imagination

About the facilitator:
Jo Soszynski is an artist and qualified teacher with a studio at Kickstart Arts. She loves peanut butter…very much.
