WDSD - Parliament House Afternoon Tea

We would like to invite you to join us for an Afternoon Tea at NSW Parliament House to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day.

The Minister for Families and Communities, and Minister for Disability Inclusion the Hon Kate Washington is hosting an afternoon tea in the Jubilee Room of NSW Parliament House exclusively for Down Syndrome NSW members and their families.

This is a significant opportunity for our members to be included, to raise awareness and show Members of Parliament what a formidable community we are. We want you there to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day as well as showcase our strength.

In particular, we want to ensure people with Down syndrome of all ages are represented on the day. Parents, grandparents and siblings are welcome too as you all play an important role in the fabric of our community.

Part of a broader emerging partnership that we have been busy working on between Down Syndrome NSW and NSW Parliament House, it is our pleasure to invite our members to this amazing event.

The Hon Kate Washington is so very committed to increasing awareness, acceptance, authentic engagement and inclusion.

Cost - Free

Dress: Smart Casual / Business Attire
