Event description

Poet-in-Residence Chris Tse guides you on methods of expanding and improving your poetry craft through collaboration with others.

Writing is more often than not a solitary act, which can sometimes lead writers to getting too comfortable when it comes to their creative practice. It’s time to shake things up! In this workshop, participants will work in pairs or small groups to write and perform a collaborative poem. Chris will share different methods of collaborative writing and explore how they can help writers to take risks by experimenting with their use of voice, tone and form.

Format

This is an in-person workshop with a focus on craft; it will be held at State Library of Queensland. This workshop is suitable for poets of all levels and writing backgrounds.
