Event description

Queer babes and allies - it's time to DISCO 💜✨

The official Wagga Wagga Wear It Purple Disco for 2025 is a safe and welcoming space to sing and dance the night away to your favourite queer anthems, while dressed-up in your most fabulous purple attire!

  • DJ T & Centennial on the tunes and taking requests!

  • Learn how to line-dance with dance professional, Hayley from Luxe Dance Studios!

  • Experience a 'Green Room' space where you can still vibe while making queer badges, friendship bracelets and chillax on some giant beanbags 💚 thanks to headspace Wagga Wagga

  • Visit the Smile Station and snap a polaroid with friends old and new

  • Pizza and popcorn included in ticket purchase.

This event is ONLY for 12 - 25 year old's. Wear It Purple Disco is a safe, welcoming, no drug and alcohol space for our local LGBTQIA+ youth community and allies. Limited tickets available. Ticket required to attend.

Important Information: 

For the safety of all attendees, there are no pass-outs for this event. What does this mean? It means that if you are required to leave the event/venue, a parent or carer must be present to collect you and show proof of identity if under 16 years old. Once you have left the event venue, you cannot re-enter. 

Accessibility:

Wagga Wagga Civic Centre is an accessible venue with accessible bathrooms, walkways, seating and parking available.

Ten noise cancelling headphones will be available to borrow at the event to support individual sensory needs.
