Are you ready to move beyond plain weave?
Learn to weave texture on a Rigid Heddle Loom. Techniques include Leno, Brooks Bouquet, Danish Medallions, Loop pile, warp and weft floats.
You will need to bring your own rigid heddle loom with a 7.5dpi heddle, 2 shuttles, 2 pick up sticks (extra shuttles will work) and all accessories necessary for warping.
This is not a beginning class. We assume that you know how to warp up your loom and weave a plain weave fabric.
Wool yarn will be provided to weave a sampler/scarf.
BYO lunch. Tea and coffee facilities provided. Fridge & microwave available.
Minimum of 4 students, the class will be cancelled 48 hours prior if the minimum is not met.
