Event description
WEDS 13TH AUGUST 1-3PM Songwriting Workshop with Stella Donnelly. This is WORKSHOP #4 of a 9-week series.
In-person or online via Zoom. Sol Green Community Centre, Cnr Montague St &, Coventry St, South Melbourne
Nationally renowned singer-songwriter Stella Donnelly is working with Wild At Heart to facilitate five weeks of songwriting workshops for people with disabilities, neurodivergence, and/or mental or chronic illness. The artist, known for her inviting charm, razor-sharp wit, and authentically raw songs, will provide workshop participants with a wealth of guidance and inspiration informed by her career as a professional songwriter.
WORKSHOP #4 / SETTING THE SCENE
Inspired by Merpire’s songwriting workshop, and drawing from the practice of screenwriters and playwrights, we will explore writing a song as if it’s a movie scene. We will “set the scene” with descriptive location, time of day, characters and action.

If you have an eligible NDIS Plan you will need to use this to pay for your participation.
Email chloe@wildatheart.org.au to organise this.
