Prevent the daily build-up of toxic stress and foster meaningful and soul-filling connections with your community and Mother Earth.
Join us for GUIDED WELLNESS WALKS - a series of eight  MBSR-inspired hikes through the breathtaking Open Space Preserves of Silicon Valley. These walks blend the proven techniques of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) with the natural beauty of the region to promote mental clarity, emotional balance, and physical relaxation. As you traverse gentle trails and serene landscapes, you'll learn to cultivate mindfulness in motion, deepening your connection with the environment and yourself. ADULTS ONLY.

Friday, July 26 - 10:30 - 12 PM at Lot 4 Villa Montalvo
What you need to know:
- We will gather in a grassy picnic area and begin with a short arrival and grounding meditation
- We are hiking the Lookout Point, South Orchard, and Creek Trail Loop (2.1 miles)
- This trail is generally considered a moderately challenging route
- Bring water and sun protection
- Wear clothing that will cover your legs
- Potluck lunch @ 12 pm for those who want to socialize and nourish
- bring your favorite snack to share
- bring a picnic blanket
What participants will experience:
-  Mindfulness meditation helps to observe the mind, connect with the body and heart, cultivate (self) compassion, and improve focus
- Boost your mood, reduce anxiety, and enhance your connection to your natural intelligence and higher power
