Event description
The West End Swing Nonet is glad to be back at their homeground of JMI to showcase some old and new charts in the style of the popular dance music of the 1930s and 1940s!
The Nonet will be playing selections from swing era artists such a Frankie Newton, Count Basie, Johnny Hodges, John Kirby, Roy Eldridge and more!
The West End Swing Nonet is a collection of swing loving musicians who seek to recreate and push forward the sound of swing as it was played, as dance music, at the height of its popularity.
