WH Carols on the Oval
Event description
The Parents & Friends Wheelers Hill Branch Subcommittee, together with Ms Imogen Whiting, Head of Wheelers Hill Junior Campus and Mr Matt Corbett, Head of Campus, invites you to attend this special event.
Carols on the Oval
Date: Friday, 1 December 2023
Time: 6:30 - 8:00pm (main event - more details will follow)
Venue: Masterton Oval, Wheelers Hill Campus
Tickets: $10 per adult /students are free
Students across the campus (junior, middle and senior school) will be caroling on stage, so bring along your loudest and proudest singing voices and join in the Christmas cheer!
Your ticket price will include a pack containing:
- a song book
- a candle (batteries included)
- a poncho (just in case 😜)
- and a few glow sticks
Your pack can be collected from the P&F Registration tables on the day prior to the commencement of the event. Additional packs will be made available to purchase on the day. More information as to where the tables will be, to follow.
The main event will run from 6:30 – 8pm, however packs and food trucks will be available prior and times for this will be published closer to the event.
As is customary, the school is collecting gifts for children this Christmas with their long-time partners Anglicare, Dixon House. The priority this year is non-perishable foods for hampers (canned soups, tinned fruit, cereal etc), grocery vouchers and toys (sports equipment, board games, lego, etc). If you can help in any way, please bring your gifts to the Carols on the Oval Event. These gifts can be placed under the giving tree and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of these tickets will also be donated to Anglicare, Dixon House.
If you wish to make an additional donation, please do so directly via Humanitix when booking your ticket(s).
- Comfortable clothing, weather appropriate
- Picnics are welcome in appropriate containers
- Picnic blankets or cushions are allowed
- No chairs allowed as they restrict other patrons’ views and can damage the oval
- Food trucks available
- No alcohol to be brought onto campus or consumed at this event
- No glass allowed
- Accessibility seating available – book via Humanitix
- Strictly NO PETS allowed.
